Happy Spyro Comunity Day 2024!

Hey everyone, i'm back to make a blog post to celebrate the Spyro Comunity day being hosted today! (09/07/2024).
this little purple boy means so much to me, as he's always brought me joy even in my worst time and i've enjoyed all of his games (yes, even the legends and skylanders series).
i remember one time when i was little, like i think 7 to 8 years old, where i was playing the spyro 1 demo in crash 3 while i was really sick. like seriously, it felt like i had every disease to ever exist and it felt awfull. But despite that, Spyro was there to make me have fun regardless and it is now one of my most treasured moments of my life.
all of the games i've played over the years are the spyro 1 demo, enter the dragonfly, a hero's tail, all of the legends games and 3 of the skylanders games (giants, superchargers and imaginators) and, of course, the reignited trilogy. which currently stands as one of my favorite games of all time. I've even compleated it 100% multiple times and got all of the steam achivements and even downleaded a few mods to it. I might even play all of the portable games if i can find a way to do so since i really like being able to play with spyro anywhere i go.
I think i even played around that one website themed on the legends games that lets you create a custom character (which i unfortunatley lost the image so i can't share how it looked like(probbably very cringy tho)) as well as a few flash games. like one where spyro flies on a straight line and you have to avoid the walls on the way. In fact, i remember playing the lengends games the most compared to the original games since i didn't played the full trilogy at the time aside from the demo and only had a hero's tail and enter the dragonly.
I would also read some of the legends's fan made comics and watch a few videos on youtube, some of them being AMVs, they're kinda cringe now a days but i could maybe go back and read some of those comics in the future.
When the Skylanders games where first announced i really liked the toys to like gimmick, thought, there was no guaranteed those game would come to my country so i would recreate the figures with plasticine.However, i wouldn't be able to play them until very recently, i think around 2019 or so. but Giants is currently my favorite of the skylanders right superchargers. I know that techincally the skylanders games aren't part of the spyro franchise, they still feature the purple boi as playable so i decided to talk about them here regardless
I do wish for Spyro to make a comeback at somepoint and once he does, you bet i'll be there to play the new games. Happy Spyro day everyone!
